The title 'Kimonoist' is awarded to those who can propose a new way of life and enjoyment for a new era, which captures the newly evolving 'traditions and culture' of Japan in their lifestyle.
Through the Kimonoist selection process, the Kimonoist team will show the world that "elegant and graceful kimono fashion is the latest culture and tradition".
The "Kimonoist" selected for this award is a stylist who suggests the "Kimono of the future" and is responsible for transmitting the kimono as the latest style and mode.

Alongside the announcement of the Kimonoist winners, an event will be held to promote kimono culture.
