For those travelling by public transport (all Hakone Tozan Railway lines reopened).
On 23 July 2020, the Hakone Tozan Railway finally reopened its entire line.
Therefore, we would like to reiterate the means by which you can reach the museum by public transport.
[By bus
<From the direction of Hakone-Yumoto
Hakone Tozan Bus (platform 2) Hakone-cho line, alight at Horaien bus stop (approx. 20 mins, depending on traffic).
Take the Izu Hakone Bus (platform 3) bound for Moto Hakone, Sekisho Ato and Hakone-en and get off at Horaien bus stop (20 minutes, depending on traffic).
From the Horaien bus stop, follow Route 1 in the direction of Lake Ashinoko,
After about a 5-minute walk, you will see a dark blue sign for 'bar Hakone Kozan'.
<From the direction of Gora
Hakone Tozan Bus (platform 1) Take the Tourist Facilities Tour bus and get off at the Kowakuen stop.
Please follow Route 1 in the direction of Lake Ashinoko, which is about a 7-minute walk.
[By train.
For passengers using the Hakone Tozan Railway, a pick-up service is available from Sculpture Forest Station between 17:00 and 21:00.
If you would like to be picked up and dropped off, please inform us at the time of the booking confirmation call you receive from the hotel,
On the day of your visit, please call directly to request an arrival time before boarding the train.
