On Tuesday 24 March 2026, bar hotel Hakone Kozan will host an opening ceremony for The Glen Grant 65 Years Old single malt whisky, limited to 151 bottles worldwide.
On the day, Campari Group brand ambassador Tomoya Shirai will conduct a masterclass with tastings, where you can learn about the appeal of Glen Grant and the background to its 65-year ageing.
Glen Grant 65 Year Old will also be offered exclusively on the day of the opening ceremony at ¥ 120,000 (excl. tax) per 10ml glass. The regular price is 300,000 yen (excluding tax) per 10ml glass.

Glen Grant 65 Year Old is a rare single malt, distilled in 1958 and carefully matured in French oak sherry casks for 65 years, limited to 151 bottles worldwide.
Complex palate with rich aromas of ripe fruit, cinnamon, tropical fruit and toffee, layered with a hint of smokiness. Rich sweetness and spice linger on the long, elegant finish.
The bottle design is also something special. Handmade by world-renowned designers and glassworks, it depicts the “budding of life” in the motif of the distillery's garden. 65 years of aged beauty and craftsmanship combine to create a bottle that can truly be called a "work of art of time". It is a bottle worthy of being called a "work of art of time".
Tomoya Shirai (Campari Group brand ambassador)
He started his career in 2010 working in restaurants. He studied at a BAR in Osaka and has won awards in cocktail competitions.Since 2019, he has been a syrup brand ambassador, developing recipes and teaching seminars, and from 2024 he is the Campari Group official brand ambassador for Japan.
Combining a wealth of practical experience in the food and beverage domain with a high level of expression, the company conveys the appeal of spirits from around the world from multiple perspectives.
Mr Shirai is an expert on Glen Grant and many other brands. At this opening ceremony, he will deliver a valuable talk on the background and history of the maturation process that has been nurtured over 65 years, how to enjoy whisky, key points for tasting, and other topics that are usually difficult to hear.
